PSAT Workshop
The Score Interpretation Meeting is open to both students and parents. it will be held on Thursday, January 10th, at 6:30 PM in Music Building 1 (the Band Room).
For the PSAT interpretation on Thursday, January 10 we have a change. Instead of handing out the scores and test booklets for two days after school before the workshop, we will be in Music Building 2 handing out the results to all those who attend the workshop that evening. We will begin handing out scores at 5:45
The PSAT review/interpretation by Princeton Review will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Music Building 1. Parents and students are welcome to attend.
The PSAT 'give back' (aka "workshop") is a scheduled time where students scores are returned to them, and a Test Preparation Expert then presents a 'workshop' (or session) on how to interpret those scores.
Basically,... what do those scores mean in terms of predicting how a student will do on the actual SAT (since the PSAT is a 'practice' SAT), and also to assist the student in knowing what areas they need to work on to hopefully improve their scores when they take the actual SAT.
The kids can pick up their results on Wed or Thursday, Jan 9th or 10th, during lunchtime - but the "giveback" is really the SCORE INTERPRETATION meeting (aka as a 'workshop')
