Reflections 2014 Awardees Announcement

Reflections 2014 Winners announced:

Arcadia High School saw 48 participants in the PTA’s annual Reflections program this year which celebrates and promotes the arts in public schools. Each year students reflect on a specific theme and create original works of Art, Literature, Music, Dance Choreography, Film, or Photography. Each entry then goes through a blind judging process by local professionals in their category. The following entries have won places of distinction at the 2014 Arcadia High School Reflections 

Dance Choreography

  • 1st place: Ashley Yan, 12
  • 2nd place: Morgan Yazdi, 9
  • 3rd place: Lilian Yen Wang, 9

Film/Video Production

  • Honorable Mention: Caroline Chen, 10

Literature

  • 1st place: Jacky Kwok, 12             
  • 2nd place: Emily Ann Colton, 11
  • 3rd place: Krystle Hermanto, 10
  • Honorable Mention: Harutyun Sadoyan, 12        

Musical Composition

  • 1st place: Paul Mekailian, 11
  • 2nd place: Conner Ching, 9

Photography

  • 1st place: Chelsie Namiye Keeler, 12
  • 2nd place: Frank Lee, 9
  • 3rd place: Hester Liu, 11
  • Honorable Mention: Christopher Wong, 12
Visual Arts
  • 1st place: Clarice Kwan, 10
  • 2nd place: Brendon Chou, 11
  • 3rd place: Holly Hao, 10
  • Honorable Mention: Tiffany Tan, 12

All of these students will be honored and celebrated at an awards ceremony at the Arcadia Performing Arts Center (PAC) on the evening of December 4th where their outstanding works of art will be displayed. We applaud their creativity!
